He has continued to develop his skills throughout the years focusing on ergonomics and how they relate to an injured workers job.

Tricia received her Masters Degree in 2012 from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. She is licensed to practice in Iowa and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has experience treating a variety of communication disorders, including: speech and language delays, apraxia, articulation disorders, phonological disorders and pragmatic/social language disorders. Tricia is trained in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, Therapeutic Listening, and PROMPT level 1 for children with Apraxia, Oral Motor and Articulation difficulties. Tricia likes to incorporate family into her treatment sessions and enjoys working on a multi-disciplinary team to develop the best plan of care for her patients.

Ashley graduated with her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May of 2015. Ashley enjoys working with children and adults and specializes in evaluating and treating various deficits and disorders.

Background:
Brad's interest in physical fitness began in high school and defined his major in Exercise Physiology at the University of Iowa. Brad entered the work force in a business managerial role, though his passion for fitness occupied his leisure time.

It was an injury involving free weights that became Brad's epiphany moment. After extensive hand surgery and 12 weeks of immobilization, he was in need of an occupational therapist with hand expertise. It was his hand therapy experience that motivated him to a career change in occupational therapy to utilize his love of fitness and helping others.

Education:
Brad graduated with a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Psychology from St. Ambrose University. As an OT, Brad's primary focus of practice has been hand therapy

Interests:
In 2004, Brad became vice president and co-owner of Braaten Health LLC. Brad holds in great value his faith, family, and ongoing belief in living an active and healthy lifestyle.

Mercedez received her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from St. Ambrose University in 2015. She is licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Iowa and Illinois. She has experience working with pediatrics and geriatrics in a variety of settings including outpatient, skilled nursing and inpatient rehabilitation. She is trained in Handwriting Without Tears and Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach. She especially enjoys working with children who have sensory processing disorders. Mercedez’ interest in the field of Occupational Therapy derives from her passion to help others achieve success and independence. Becky is a front office coordinator that works at Braaten Health’s Midwest Therapy Bettendorf. She has been with in the medical field for the past 6 years. She specializes in customer service, billing, claims, insurance, data entry, and Microsoft Office/Excel. She discovered a passion for the medical field after undergoing cancer as a small child. She then later started her own child care facility to pursue her love for children and fulfill her passion to nurture and educate. Becky holds and Associates of Arts degree which she obtained at Scott Community College as well as a CNA certificate. Outside of caring for patients at Braaten Health she loves to cook, knit, entertain family/friends but most of all spend time with her loving husband, daughter, two sons and her 3 dogs.

Elizabeth still continues to work at the hospitals to keep up with those critical care skills. Her interest in this field comes from wanting to help all be able to breathe easier.
